Natalie's Memorial - Posted by: Marlene, Aug 30,1999 MiSFiT asked me to post information regarding Natalie's memorial service and where one can send a donation, in lieu of flowers. The information is as follows: This Wed. Sept. 1st @ 11 AM Buriel and Reception to follow Catholic furnerals are open to the public, so anyone is welcome to come celebrate Natalie's life Saint Monica's Catholic Church 725 California Ave. Santa Monica, CA. Natalie had mild development delays, mostly due to her chronic illness. She attended a wonderful program, with loving teachers, to help her catch up. Natalie absolutly loved this place. Therefore, we chose this for any donations: UCLA Early Intervention Program Natalie Gaines Memorial Fund Developmental Studies Program 23-10 Rehabilitation Center 1000 Veteran Ave. L.A., CA. 90095-1797 It is really important for me to mention that I hope Natalie's death doesn't scare anyone off the board. I was worried about this. Now more than ever, you need each other and this community spirit, to search, share, and question everything. It is the only way us parents can help our children combat this terrible disease. The only peace of mind I have right now is knowing that I never gave up. She knew it too.
