I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how little time it does take for my son. When he had his first infusion done I took a picture of the white board so that I would remember the rate, etc. This is what was on it - 10/2.5; 20/5; 40/10; 80/20; 150/75; 250/125. From start to finish max time has been 3 1/2 hours. And that was the time the nurse "thought" she couldn't find his vein and put it in a weird spot kind of underneath his elbow. Anyway he didn't like that spot because he couldn't lay his arm down very well. Otherwise usually it only takes 3 hours. So we have about 7 hours driving time and 3 hours infusion time. Still a full day.

Congrats again to Max for being such a big, brave boy. Tell him "Good Job" from me.

Have fun in the snow !!!!
