We start at 10 and then increase every 15 min. reaching 150. It takes about 3 hours and we give the benadryl and tylenol when we get there so it begins getting in his system while the creme on his arm is numbing. We see the Dr. before the infusion so all in all we are there from about 8 am to 3 pm. About 4 hours for the infusion. It's a long day. We do not stay after the infusion for observation. Never have, nor has anyone said anything about such protocol. Does everyone do this? son, cd, 14, remi, zyrtec |
